MiSnap FAQ: Non-Direct Client
What must our digital (mobile) banking provider do to comply with this MiSnap upgrade requirement if our mobile banking provider is not Alogent
The digital banking provider needs to download the latest version of MiSnap from Github and begin the exercise of integrating it with the mobile app. In addition, the credit union must request the license from Alogent.
What happens if our (mobile) banking provider fails to upgrade MiSnap to version 5.X by December 1? Will Alogent’s Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) stop working or generate an error?
No, RDC will not stop working. However, as noted above, if there are issues with newer operating systems and/or newer devices, those will only be addressed in MiSnap 5.x.
Can we contact Alogent to assist our digital banking provider upgrade MiSnap, including testing and -integration?
Yes, Alogent will assist your digital banking provider with the integration and testing.
How do we obtain the new license key?
You will need to send a request to the following email address.
Who is responsible for maintaining the proper license keys and the integration code? Alogent, credit union, the credit union’s digital (mobile) banking provider?
Alogent will provide and maintain the license keys and will inform you when the expiration date is approaching so that we can get newer license keys issued.
Is there anything else that needs to be done when we upgrade Alogent’s Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) in the future?
No.
