Digital Check and Alogent Announce Product Partnership
ATLANTA – (March 6, 2003) – Digital Check Corporation (DCC), a leading
provider of check imaging equipment worldwide, announced a new product
partnership with Alogent Corporation, a provider of payment transaction
processing solutions for global financial institutions, remittance processors,
and payment processors. This newly formed partnership allows Alogent to market
DCC’s Teller Scan line of check scanners with its Sierra® Xpedite™ extensible
deposit automation™ system.
"The Digital Check partnership is a key element in Alogent's strategy to help
banks boost branch productivity and transaction quality through deposit
automation. Digital Check brings product innovation, responsiveness, and
reliability that will provide superior value to our customers, " stated Robert
Coyan, Director of Business Development at Alogent.
In speaking of the synergies between the two companies, Mark Vose, Digital
Check's National Account Manager, said: "Our TellerScan products combined with
Alogent's expertise in branch automation, makes Alogent's Sierra Xpedite deposit
automation system a great choice for financial institutions that are seeking to
lower costs and improve customer service. Digital Check is the only U.S. and
European based check scanner manufacturer focused on bank tellers and branch
scanning. TellerScan's trouble-free operation, broad range, and common API,
allows end-users to mix-and-match for the ideal solution in each case.”
Digital Check’s TellerScan products provide automated image capture of
paper-based transactions in teller and back room environments. The image
capture devices provide check images and MICR information to Sierra
Xpedite, Alogent’s extensible deposit automation product that captures,
validates, and manages transactions at points of physical payment.
Digital Check’s scanners are the scanner of choice in 33 of the 35 major
banks that are participating in Singapore's check truncation system, the largest
teller window installation in the world today.
